Meet the Team
Meet the Fleming Homes’ Team:
Jordan Fleming (President)
Jordan Fleming brings over a decade of hard-won experience to Fleming Homes. As a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, with a degree in Business Economics, Mr. Fleming immediately entered the construction field. His success in both residential (single and multi-family) and commercial construction and restoration projects have allowed him to apply his skills and knowledge to consistently demonstrate his care for building the utmost quality and value into every project in which he is involved. In 2009, Jordan partnered with Wayne Baker and CRC (Cary Reconstruction Company) and was instrumental in creating a powerhouse of a company with multiple locations in multiple states and an annual revenue of over 42 million dollars – especially noteworthy when you consider that the average restoration job costs less than $10,000. Jordan’s list of awards and dedicated homeowners is enviable. Jordan has twice been selected as Contractor of the Year, a Golden Hammer Top Performer for three consecutive years (2011-2013) and won prestigious back-to-back Gold Key Awards in the Parade of Homes. North Hampton, Corbin Woods and Covington are just a few of the neighborhoods that Jordan Fleming has completed. Jordan’s experience, values and creative vision ensure that Fleming Homes has set the bar by which all other home builders are judged. In a short period of time, Fleming Homes has become the homebuilder of choice in Middle Tennessee. Communities such as Amber Pointe, Bates Reserve, The Estates on Sandy Valley Road and the upcoming Rowland Farms continue to illustrate Fleming Homes’ vision and dedication to quality.
Wayne Baker (Chief Operating Officer)
Wayne Baker brings a unique background to Fleming Homes. Mr. Baker began his career as a draftsman for Duke Energy and it wasn’t long before he saw unmet market needs and from those created a series of successful companies all related to homebuilding and restoration. His first company, Color Craft Inc., was founded in 1988, grew dramatically, and subsequently sold in 1999. Cary Reconstruction Company (CRC) became the next of Mr. Baker’s success stories. Acquired in 1994, with a total 8 employees and one location, Cary Reconstruction Company grew to achieve annual revenues of over 42 million dollars. No small feat when you consider that the average restoration job is $8,000. The firm grew to employ over 200 associates and technicians – in 7 locations – and was honored as one of the three fastest-growing companies in North Carolina – 3 years in a row. Additionally, Contractor Connection named CRC Contractor of the Year in both 2011 and 2013 and they were also USAA’s Contractor of the year in 2012 and 2013. In fact, in 2014, Cary Reconstruction Company was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the largest growing companies in the entire United States. Not surprisingly, CRC and its accomplishments caught the attention of a large private equity firm. Wayne made the decision to sell Cary Reconstruction Company, so that he could focus all of his time and talents on Fleming Homes. Wayne’s dedication and passion for exceeding his clients’ expectations continues at Fleming Homes. With a proven track record of exceptional homes in neighborhoods such as; Riverwood Country Club, Rand Meadows, Summer Ridge, Grissom Farms, Fairground Pointe and Polenta Road, Fleming Homes is gaining a reputation for excellence and value in the greater Raleigh area.
Bart Bledsoe (Director of Field Operations TN)
Bart brings over ten years-worth of experience to Fleming Homes. Experience – and a critical eye. In his role as structural project superintendent, Mr. Bledsoe focuses his time on the details. From footers through the entire finish schedule Bart is the guy. He takes pride in his job. A pride that can be seen in every home he builds. As a Fleming Home associate, he has played an integral role in the creation of a very successful brand in the greater Lebanon/Mt. Juliet market and has been a part of the construction of many fine homes. A testimony to his dedication to quality, Bart also oversees the inspections process for Fleming Homes in several counties. A role for which he is uniquely suited.
Chris Butler (Storm Water Superintendent)
A Fleming Homes associate for just over two years, Chris brings his many talents to the site work side of the business. With responsibilities that range from initial building preparation on the front end to driveways on the back end, Mr. Butler has demonstrated a remarkable ability to juggle a great number of tasks. Important, and unsung tasks like; culverts and silt fences and erosion control and drain lines. Each equally important to the building process, Chris handles them all – and he handles them well. He is also responsible for site cleanliness – a task that’s very important at Fleming Homes. Chris believes that you can’t see the quality if a bunch of trash gets in the way. Thanks for all of your efforts!
Brandon Price (Director of Field Operations NC)
Brandon Price, is one of the newest members of the Fleming Homes’ team. Mr. Price beings the same level of dedication, discipline and eye for craftsmanship to his role at Fleming Homes that has enabled him to achieve success in all of his past endeavors. Brandon began his career as a member of the US Army Reserves, which led to a successful tour of duty in Iraq. Post Iraq, Brandon spent several years working as an estimator and project manager for two of the area’s largest firms specializing in the construction restoration industry. Mr. Price, (not unlike other Fleming Homes’ team members) earned his experience the old-fashioned way – from the ground up. He understood early on that you can only learn so much sitting at a desk. Brandon’s distinct eye for craftsmanship and his dedication to getting the job done right are the product of the countless hours that he spent in the field learning the correct way to accomplish every task, while managing teams of sub-contractors and properly setting homeowners’ expectations. Mr. Price brings that level of sophisticated knowledge and pride to every Fleming home that he builds.
Terry Gilbert (Director of Field Operations NC)
Terry brings a fresh viewpoint and a wealth of experience to Fleming Homes and The Tapestry.
Perhaps it is his decades in both the new construction business and the insurance restoration business, but Terry has the unique ability to understand how important it is to do things right the first time. After all, he spent years rebuilding after disasters. As the president of his own firm, and a partner in another, Terry understands both scheduling and supervision of the building trades and he holds them accountable, which insures the best quality craftsmanship. Terry’s experience with some of the area’s largest homebuilding firms has furthered his experience and perspective.
Mr. Gilbert’s professional accreditations include; General Contractor License – state of North Carolina, Water Damage Restoration certificate and Heavy Equipment Safety Certification.

Mr. Auchter was also associated with then Avatar Holdings’ Solivita active adult community near Orlando and is a recognized authority on the history of the building industry and the evolution of home design from the early 1900’s to present. Part of his unique experience is time spent working directly for two very successful advertising agencies that specialized in real estate. Mr. Auchter was twice voted south Florida Marketing director of the year and was appointed a Life Director with the Builders’ Association of South Florida.
Team accounting, need we say more. The real heart of any organization is their accounting department, and Fleming Home is no exception. The team of Kim Szarek and Amber Fleming share all of these responsibilities, and these two ladies are on their game. From accounts payable in Tennessee to accounts receivable in North Carolina – and everything in-between, Kim and Amber have it covered. And that’s saying something. Each week a literal ton of paper and emails (too numerous to count), pass through their hands or their screens and each and every one of them is handled with the respect and professionalism that they require. In fact, Fleming Homes is known for paying promptly. An anomaly in the home building industry, that affords Fleming Homes their choice in trade partners. In addition to handling the Human Resources department Kim is Fleming Homes’ master control. Likewise, Amber is a master at knowing all of our trade partners and being the calming influence of the company.
